THS Families: 8.8.2024
We hope all is well for you and all of our THS families! The intention of this communication is to inform you that the THS Orientation Day will be held on the Trinity High School campus from 10 am until 4 pm on Thursday, August 15. All parents/guardians and students are highly encouraged to attend, as many resources will be provided that are significant to the start of the school year. Please plan roughly 1-2 hours.at your preferred time.
Orientation Day is for both students and parents/guardians to have an opportunity to ensure that your child’s online AERIES account for registration is complete (a.k.a. Parent Data Confirmation) for the upcoming school year. Also, you will have the opportunity to visit classrooms, receive schedules, student computers, textbooks, locker assignments, and have an opportunity to walk around our beautiful and fully operational facilities at Trinity High School! Please note: course changes will be limited to: upper level courses, teacher assistant classes for juniors/seniors, work experience (off-period for seniors), or class changes needed for club obligations.
Registration for your child is made available on the THS Online AERIES account (Parent Data Confirmation). All parts of registration within need to be completed in order to fulfill registration. It is our goal to have all registration take place online prior to arriving at the August 15 orientation.
Incentives will be in place for students who arrive at the orientation with all their personal information completed in AERIES will receive a raffle ticket. Raffle winners will be announced every 30 minutes, with two names drawn each time! But that's not all! These students will also get a second ticket to enjoy one of these tasty treats: candy, a root beer float, or an ice cream cone!
For students without their personal information entered period to arrival, don’t worry! We’ll have a computer station available for you to complete it. Once done, you'll earn a ticket for a delicious treat, but you won’t qualify for the raffle. Therefore, we highly recommend completing your information before arriving at the orientation to maximize your chances of winning and to avoid the long line of waiting! Your name will be entered into the raffle as soon as your information is verified at the ticket station. See you there!
All students who have completed their AERIES information are then able to receive student schedules, textbooks, computers, and lockers. Again, these will be provided to students only after the completion of the required information has been entered into AERIES.
As a reminder, the first day for students is August 20. Each day during the first week of school are early release days (1:35 PM). Enjoy the rest of your summer with your families.
Respectfully,
Dr. Corey Helgesen
